Instructions to Authors
1 Chinese Annals of Mathematics (CAM) Ser. A is a comprehensive mathematical journal carrying original papers (written in Chinese) on pure and applied mathematics. It is published bimonthly, one volume per year, and distributed all over the world. Contributions from mathematicians are welcome.
2 From 1988 on, part of the papers published in Ser. A are translated into English and published in “Chinese Journal of Contemporary Mathematics” (abbr. Ser. C, quarterly) by Allerton Press, Inc. in USA.
3 Manuscripts should be prepared and submitted in accordance with the following instructions:
3.1 A system of responsibility and recommendation by members of the Editorial Board is in practice for treating contributions. Manuscripts for publication in CAM Ser. A should be sent to the Editorial Board and the Editorial Office through the Online Submission System (http://www.camath.fudan.edu.cn). As manuscripts will not be returned, author(s) are advised to retain a copy of them.
3.2 Papers contributed to CAM should be original and substantial in content and concise and succinct in language. Each paper should include an abstract not exceed 200 words, 3-8 keywords, 2000 MR (Mathematical Reviews) Subject Classification and Chinese Library Classification, and the English version of the title, abstract and keywords.
3.3 Manuscript should be typed on A4 sheets with double-spaced lines. Once a paper is accepted, the author(s) will be requested to send the final manuscript in hardcopy (or PDF or PS file) as well as an electronic file (CCT) in the format required by CAM Ser. A through the Online System or via e-mail to edcam@fudan.edu.cn to the Editorial Office.
3.4 References should be cited in the text using Arabic numerals within square brackets, and listed in the order of its appearance in the documment.
For journals:
[reference number] surname(s) initial(s). paper title [J]. abbreviated title of the journal, year of publication, volume number (issue number), relevant page numbers.
For books:
[reference number] surname(s) initial(s). book title. site of publication: publishing house, year of publication.
For proceedings:
[reference number] surname(s) initial(s). paper title [C](or [M])//editor(s) (ed(s)). Title of the Proceedings. site of publication: publishing house, year of publication, relevant pages.
For dissertations:
[reference number] surname(s) initial(s). title [D]. site of the unit: unit, year.
4 All papers will be refereed. If necessary, the author(s) would be asked to revise the manuscript according to the referee's suggestions. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make reasonable modifications in wording.
5 Papers are accepted with the understanding that the same work has not been published and that it is not being submitted for publication elsewhere. When a paper has been accepted for publication, the author(s) will be required to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement for the paper. There is no page charge for the journal. 30 reprints will be given free of charge for each paper. Additional reprints may be purchased prior to publication by using the Order Form sent with the proofs. Authors of the paper published in Ser. C will receive 20 reprints and a copy of the issue for free and the fee for translation will be paid.
