| A class of infinite dimensional characteristically simple $n$-Lie algebras is constructed by means of the tensor product of associative
algebras and $n$-Lie algebras. It is also proved that the inner derivation algebras of the characteristically simple
$n$-Lie algebras are characteristically simple Lie algebras except the case $n=3$. |
