Abstract：
The authors study the conformally covariant split system arising in general relativity. They prove the existence of solutions on compact three-dimensional Riemannian manifolds with non-negative scalar curvature under appropriate smallness conditions on the matter fields. The result provides a new class of physically meaningful initial data sets for the Einstein equations satisfying the dominant energy condition.
