| Abstract： |
Let V be a non-defective n-dimensional quadratic space over a field F of characteristic 2. In this paper we prove that, when n\geq 6 with n\ne 8 and F\ne\F_2 any automorphism of \Omega(V) or O'(V) has the standard type \Phi_g, sending \sigma to g\sigma g^-1, where g is a serhilinear automorphism of V which preserves the quadratic structure. Therefore the automorphism groups Aut \Omega(V) and Aut O'(V) are isomorphic to PTO(V). As a corollary, Aut 0(V) and Aut 0^+(V) are isomorphic to PTO(V) as well. |
