| Abstract： |
This paper proves that the optimal quadrature formulas of type (r_1,\cdots,r_n) for W_1^m is unique, and the extremal function is characterized by its oscillatory property. On the other hand, the fundamental theorem of algebra for periodic monosplines with odd multiplicities is solved. |
