| Abstract： |
The author studies the stabilization for the unitary groups over
polynomial rings and obtains for them some results analogous to the
results of linear groups and symplectic groups. It is especially proved
that $K_1 U(A) = K_1 U(R)$ where $A = R[X_1, \cdots, X_m]$, $R$ is a
ring of algebraic integers in a quadratic field $Q(\sqrt d)$. |
