Aircraft comes out at the beginning of the last century. Accompanied by the progress of high speed ?ight the theory of partial di?erential equations has been greatly developed. This paper gives a brief review on the history of applications of partial di?erential equations to the study of supersonic ?ows arising in high speed ?ight. |
