Abstract：
In this paper the author obtain several new fixed point theorems for generalized contractive type mappings by means of Kwapisz's contractive gauge function and then proves that lots of contractive type mappings are topologically equivalent to Banach contraction with
given contractive constant $\[C \in [0,1)\]$.
