Abstract：
This paper offers a general result on the problem whether there exists an infinite subsequence of $\[[L/M](s)\]$ approximants from the $\[(M + 1)\]$-th row of the Pade table converging to $\[f(s)\]$. According to this result one can get the optimum conclusion(mentioned in the last paragraph).
