| Abstract: |
In this paper, the authors employ the ??-steepest descent method and B?cklund transformation to investigate the asymptotic stability of Dirac solitons for the massive Thirring model. Starting from a Riemann–Hilbert problem formulation, they rigorously analyze the long-time behavior of solutions with initial data close to a soliton profile. It is proved that such solutions decompose into a stable soliton and a dispersive radiation part that decays in time, thereby establishing the asymptotic stability of Dirac solitons in the energy space. |
